Pet Portraiture
I currently offer realistic drawn pet portraits. You can see some examples on this page as well as here. These black and white portraits are drawn using charcoal/chalk on black paper, although you can request other mediums. Note that the level of time investment varies depending on the medium, with a corresponding change in price.
Reference Photo
In order to get a good likeness and interesting composition, a high quality photograph is necessary. Sometimes a cell phone shot will suffice, but more often it is best to take some new reference photos. If you already have professional photos of your pet, keep in mind that photographers almost always retain rights to their photos, and a release from the photographer is necessary before such an image can be used as a reference.
Pricing
The image is 8 by 11 inches on a 9 by 12 inch piece of paper. Drawings are provided without a mat or frame.
Current pricing is $325. Turnaround time is generally a three to four weeks, although that may change due to demand.
